New research has found 31-years old is the most expensive year of our lives. The reason: so many major life events often happen at that time. Research from credit check site ‘ClearScore’ found 31-years old is when marriage is the major expense for about 27% of us. About 25% of 31-year olds’ finances were being hit hard by the home-buying process. And 20% percent said expanding their family was their major financial worry, with 14 percent spending on a honeymoon or big vacation.
