Ontario’s newly elected Opposition leader is vowing to spend much of the next three months on the road and leave most of the work in the legislature to former interim leader Vic Fedeli. During a visit to Queen’s Park yesterday to meet with staff, Doug Ford said the party is focused on defeating Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne on June 7th and shaping up Ontario’s finances. Ford, who does not currently have a seat in the legislature, said he has to be “out there non-stop” and he won’t be seen too often at the legislature during the campaign. Ford also said he spoke with Wynne yesterday, saying he had great respect for her and would “never underestimate her” before adding that she has never debated him before.
