Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee Lead iHeartRadio Nominations

The iHeartRadio Awards are happening on March 11th, and the nominations are in! Leading with 7 nods a piece are Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. Most nominated song would be Despacito, with the remix featuring Justin Bieber. It’s in categories including Song of the Year, Latin Song of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Lyrics.

Canadians are well represented. Aside from the Biebs, Brampton’s Alessia Cara is up for Female Artist Of The Year, both Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd are up for Male Artist. The Weeknd is also up for R&N Artist, while Drake is named in the nominations as well. Canadian Rock group Theory of a Deadman is also up for an iHeartRadio Award.
