The OPP’s distracted driving campaign is on right through until Sunday. They have released some preliminary numbers and they are not good. Police have already laid 844 distracted driving charges on provincially patrolled roads. OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says despite the warnings, people continue to use their cell phones while driving.
