One more time … Even though cannabis is legal in Canada now, you still cannot take it over the border. Cannabis confiscations at the Canadian border increased more than 60 per cent year-over-year in the first six weeks after pot legalization back in the Fall of 2018. The Canada Border Services Agency is linking the rise to the fact that’s when they began asking people whether they were bringing pot into the country. Again … you can’t do that. Taking pot across Canada’s international borders remains illegal and can result in serious criminal penalties.
