A Show Inspired By Kelly Ripa And Ryan Seacrest’s Friendship Just Got The Green Light

A show based on the real-life friendship of  Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest is on its way.  ABC ordered the single-camera comedy Work Wife,” directly inspired by the working partnership between the two. The creators of “The Real O’Neals” and NBC’s “This Is Us” are behind it while it’s produced by Seacrest Productions, Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos, and a few others.
It will not involve an on-camera partnership though — the show will surround two colleagues who work as a Real Estate team.
