Peel Regional police have arrested and charged a 33-year old woman who is accused of assault with a weapon after an incident at a quick service restaurant in the area of Goreway Dr and Morning Star Dr in Mississauga yesterday morning. According to Cst Akhil Mookin with Peel Regional Police, the assault took place after the restaurant got the woman’s order wrong. A fellow customer who tried to de-escalade the situation between the accused and restaurant staff was the victim of the assault, using an “edged weapon“.
