Brooklyn Nine-Nine will conclude with a 10-episode final season next year. The cast, including Andy Samberg, weighed in on the news yesterday. He also admits it became very tough after the Black Lives Matter Movement and the death of George Floyd to figure out how to proceed with the show. Terry Crews has also said the show’s writers chose to start from scratch on the new season after public outcry, and that is also the reason why you won’t see the final season until the end of the year. The final 10 episodes will begin to air in the 2021-22 TV season.
I'm sad it will end, but happy to have had the chance to be a part of something so special.
