Canada Announces Plans To Go To The Moon

Canada’s science minister says the country plans to land a rover on the moon in the not too distant future. Francois-Philippe Champagne says the unmanned robotic vehicle will gather imagery and measurements. The Canadian Space Agency will look for two companies to develop the hardware. The federal government’s pledge falls under a $150-million-dollar lunar exploration program.
