Canada Could Get A Spot On The UN Security Council Today

It could be a big day for Prime Minister Trudeau on the world stage. The P.M. has been pushing hard for a shot at a temporary seat on the United Nations Security Council — and voting begins today. Trudeau says winning one of two available seats would give Canada a greater global voice. The election is set to take at least five hours — it would have taken about one hour if it were not for COVID19 restrictions.
