Chris Harrison Issues Apology After Being Called Out For ‘Perpetuating Racism’

Chris Harrison has issued an apology after people did not like the way he defended one of the Bachelor contestants on a Bachelor podcast. The person in question is Rachel Kirkconnel. She is the one that reportedly ends up with Matt, but the interesting part is apparently she’s pretty racist. She came under fire after a TikTok user said she was racist in High School. In addition to “liking” offensive social media posts, a photo of her and her sorority sisters doing a plantation-themed frat party surfaced too. Chris was asked about it in the podcast 2 days ago and said a couple things, but the one that bugged people the most “I saw a picture of her at a sorority party five years ago and that’s it. After Lindsay noted that the pictures from the frat party are “not a good look,” Harrison asked, “Is it [not] a good look in 2018 or is it not a good look in 2021?” Chris was called out for that. He says sorry, and realizes what he said perpetuates racism.

Here is his apology…
