Convicted Drunk Driver Drove Away From The Orangeville Court Right In Front Of An Officer

Police have made a fairly easy arrest because the accused committed the alleged act right in front of them … at a court house.  According to Caledon OPP, an officer was at the Court for an unrelated matter, when he watched a Judge sentence an impaired driver to a one-year license suspension. About 5-minutes after sentencing, an officer witnessed the accused get into his vehicle and drive away. Between Orangeville Police Court Services and the OPP, they caught up to him. 35-year old Shivkaranjit Bath of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with driving while under suspension. His vehicle has been impounded for 45-days and he will be back in court on September 30th.
