After more than six months in space, Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques is heading back to Earth today. Saint-Jacques, along with an American astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut are expected to land just before 11pm onboard a Soyuz capsule. Saint-Jacques first trip to space included milestones such as a six-and-a-half hour spacewalk in April and operating Canadarm2 to perform a “cosmic catch” of SpaceX Dragon cargo in May. Saint-Jacques’s stay aboard the International Space Station is also the longest single spaceflight by a Canadian, with 204 days in orbit.
