A 20-year old from Orangeville has been arrested after police allege he was impaired when the vehicle he was driving drove away from police with a passenger hanging out of the window. Around 2:25am on Saturday, Guelph Police noticed a vehicle parked downtown with “multiple males dancing on the roof.” As officers approached the vehicle, police say it reversed out of its parking spot with one of its passengers hanging out of the rear window. According to police, there was a “high volume” of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area at the time of the incident. Eventually the vehicle did stop and the 20-year old driver was given a roadside breath test, which police say he failed. The driver was arrested for impaired and dangerous driving. He will be in court on Oct 11th.
