On Friday Westside Secondary In Orangeville Is Going All Pink For Breast Cancer

On Friday (November 2nd) an Orangeville High School is going Pink for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. This annual tradition at Westside Secondary School was established back in 2004 and sees the entire school transformed pink. Breakfast will be served to the community for a minimum $2 donation between 7:15am and 8:15am in the Westside Secondary cafeteria. Events continue throughout the day that culminates with an assembly that includes staff student competitions, live band, trivia contests, staff and students getting their heads shaved and more. Westside Secondary School is located at: 300 Alder Street, Orangeville. For the past three years Westside Secondary school was the #1 fundraiser in all of Canada for the “Dress For the Cause” event.  As the top fundraiser the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, $5,000 each year was donated back to Orangeville’s local cancer treatment facility at Headwaters Health Care Centre.
