Getting Ready For Game 4 – Raptors Vs Warriors Tonight

The weather is going to be beautiful for watching the Raptors tonight in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Game time tonight is 9:00pm and Toronto is healthy heading into this one with all of the usuals expected to be in the line-up. For Golden State, Klay Thompson is set to return tonight from a left hamstring injury. Two-time reigning finals MVP Kevin Durant remains out, however.

All of the Jurassic Parks throughout southern Ontario open up at 7:00pm tonight. The weather is expected to be near perfect with temperatures in the mid-high teens at tip-off and no rain in the forecast.

Tonight Burlington’s “Walk Off The Earth” will sing Oh Canada. Ne-Yo will sing the American National Anthem.

If the Raptors win tonight, their first chance to clinch the championship will be Monday back here in Toronto. Remember, if you’re going to a bar or a friend’s house to watch the game tonight … please don’t drink and drive.

A Raptors fan accused of making a vulgar comment about the wife of Steph Curry on live television has now been charged. Police say 28-year-old Tristan Warkentin of Toronto turned himself in and faces a charge of mischief by interfering with the lawful operation of property. Warkentin is accused of uttering what police call “profane phrases” in an interview with a CP24 reporter following Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

The Golden State Warriors investor who shoved Kyle Lowry during Game 3 of the NBA Finals has been banned from attending NBA games for the next year.  Mark Stevens has also been fined $500,000 by the league after he gave Lowry a hard push and repeatedly swore at him.  The NBA said Stevens has been banned effective immediately and he will also be barred from attending any Warriors team activities. The ban will carry through next season.  “A team representative must be held to the highest possible standard, and the conduct of Golden State Warriors investor Mark Stevens last night was beyond unacceptable and has no place in our league,” the NBA said in a statement yesterday.  “As the review of this matter continues, Mr. Stevens will not be permitted to attend NBA games.”
