Hamilton Police have now released two of the four teens they’d taken into custody. A 16-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl were both arrested on Tuesday, but police say they have not been charged. Two of the teens, an 18-year-old and a 14-year-old have already appeared in court on charges of first-degree murder.
People are still in shock over the murder of a 14-year old boy in Hamilton, outside his school, on Monday afternoon. Hamilton Police say they’ve arrested two more teenage suspects. A 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, related to the death of Devan Selvey, who some reports say was being bullied. First degree murder charges were laid against two of the previously arrested. Police say those charges were laid because their investigation found some elements of pre-planning in the attack on Selvey which occurred in front of his mother Monday afternoon. Police also say two males (aged 18 and 14) who were arrested Monday made a brief court appearance yesterday. A vigil is being held at the school tonight.
