Hurricane Dorian Is Back Up To Category 3 At It Heads For Nova Scotia

As you likely know by now parts of the Bahamas were devastated by Hurricane Dorian, leaving thousands desperately looking for help. The Bahamian government has updated the death toll. They now say at least 20 people were killed but that number is expected to keep climbing. Meanwhile, Dorian has grown again. It is back to Category 3 status as it heads up the coast of the Carolinas. The U.S. National Hurricane Center says that rising water moving inland from the coastline is expected to last over the next 36 hours.

Canada in the path:

East Coast Canadians are being told to be vigilant as Hurricane Dorain continues to head toward our Maritime provinces. Forecasters say Dorian could make it to Nova Scotia by Saturday as a full-blown Category 1 hurricane.
