The Ford Government will table its first budget today and the Premier says the plan will lay out a path to balance. Leading up to the budget, Ford would say just how long it will take to get rid of Ontario’s $13.5 billion dollar deficit, but the finance minister says the previous government was spending $40 million dollars a day more than it was bringing in. We know cuts are coming today to try and get the books back in balance and various groups will be watching to see how deeps the cuts go. Sources have said today’s budget will include free dental care for low-income seniors and there will be some fun things in there like legalized tailgating and redesigned licence plates.
