Major-General Dany Fortin is seeking a judicial review of the decision to toss him from his Public Health Agency job as COVID-19 vaccine logistics boss. Fortin was fired last month, five days before the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service referred a sexual misconduct investigation to the Quebec prosecution service to determine whether criminal charges were warranted. Through his lawyers, Fortin has denied any wrongdoing. His review application in Federal Court says the decision to remove him and not re-assign him was unreasonable. He also alleges improper political interference by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his defence and health ministers.
