More Changes Are Coming To Pot Sales In Ontario

The province is loosening some of the rules regulating how and where legal pot is sold. Ontario will soon allow private licensed cannabis retailers to sell products online or over the phone for in-store pick-up. As it stands, the provincially run Ontario Cannabis Store is the only place pot can be legally purchased online. The government says it will also let licensed producers sell cannabis at production sites, much like wineries and breweries do. A timeline for this change wasn’t disclosed. The number of legal marijuana outlets in Ontario is increasing from 25 to 75 this fall.
