Pampers will be installing 5,000 baby changing tables in men’s restrooms across Canada and the U.S. Around 500 high-need will receive new changing tables within the next few weeks. Pampers say that men’s restrooms should match the responsibilities of modern fathers. The company’s initiative will see changing tables installed specifically in public areas like parks and libraries. It comes following several viral social media posts which show how fathers struggle to change their children in public. To mark the launch of the campaign, Pampers spokesman and father-of-two John Legend appeared in an ad video with other fathers. He talked about how father’s deal with a lack of changing stations in male restroom. He said: “Dads have to resort to all these maneuvers because there’s no changing stations in our restrooms.” That post led to a movement to install baby-changing stations in men’s restrooms with the hashtag #SquatForChange.

9 out of 10 dads have gone into a public restroom to change their baby's diaper only to find there is NO changing table.😡 We want to help change that! Pampers has committed to provide 5,000 Koala Kare changing tables for public restrooms across the US and Canada by 2021, so all dads and their babies can #LoveTheChange together. Happy Father’s Day from us to you! @johnlegend @3boys_1goal
