Toronto Police have made an arrest related to a man seen uttering a vulgar phrase on live television after game 2 of the NBA Finals. On Monday, June 3 officers became involved in a mischief investigation that had occurred at 11:10pm the previous night, in the University Avenue and Fronts Street West area. Police say a reporter had asked the man to comment regarding the Raptors win. He was advised it would be broadcast on live TV. However, during the interview he uttered profane phrases and then ran away. 28-year old Tristan Warkentin of Toronto is charged with Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Operation of Property.
