Sandra also made us proud. She was the first Canadian to host the show, and first person of Asian decent to host the show as well. She was also the first Asian woman to pick up the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series (for Killing Eve). Meanwhile, Mark Ronson is a Globe winner! Best Original Song went to “Shallow,” and Lady Gaga also went up to accept the award.

There wasn’t really one stand out in TV or film in terms of winning, however. It was pretty spread out!
