There will be no Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year. The chief financial officer for L Brands (which owns the lingerie company) announced the news yesterday.
The cancellation comes after months of rumors and declining sales, and a few controversial choices.
He says “We think it’s important to evolve the messaging of Victoria’s Secret. We will be communicating to customers but nothing similar in magnitude to the fashion show. We will communicate to customers through lots of vehicles including social media and other channels.”
