Police in Hamilton say three of its officers have suffered serious injuries and are in stable condition in hospital. They say the officers received stab wounds in the head and neck after responding to reports of an armed man in crisis on a city street. Police say a 24-year-old Oakville man is charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, four counts of resisting arrest and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon.
