Last night was a bad one for collisions in Milton. Two pedestrians were hit by a car on Thompson Rd (at McCuaig Dr) around 7pm. A female in her 20’s was taken to Hamilton General Hospital and a teenage boy was rushed to McMaster Children’s Hospital. The teen was reportedly pinned between two vehicles and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was freed by Milton firefighters. Both pedestrians were crossing at the intersection. No charges have been laid thus far. Halton Police are still investigating. Also, one person is dead after being struck by a GO Train, east of Cooksville station. Service from Union Station to Milton Station was cancelled for the evening as of around 7pm due to the collision. Metrolinx advised passengers to take the Lakeshore West GO Train to Port Credit where GO buses would head to Dixie Road and all stops in Milton.
