Americans not yet eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19, will be soon. All 50 states plan to open vaccine eligibility to everyone 16 and older by April 19. Several states have already done that, including Alaska, Mississippi and Georgia. According to President Joe Biden, 90% of all adult Americans will be within 5 miles of a vaccination clinic. The American vaccine rollout is being considered the gold standard around the world. They are vaccinating at a rate of more than 3-million shots per day. Forty percent of the US has now received their first COVID dose. President Biden has committed to vaccinating 200 million Americans in his first 100 days in office.
Our 7-day daily average for shots administered is at just under 3 million per day.
This pace is unprecedented, and we'll continue to accelerate our vaccination program to meet the President's goal of administering 200 million shots in his first 100 days in office. pic.twitter.com/VfPzCGVITX

My Administration is working to get America vaccinated as quickly as possible. And this week, we took additional steps to make vaccines more accessible. By April 19, 90% of Americans will live within 5 miles of a place to get a shot.
