Another Canadian has been confirmed as having contracted coronavirus, bringing the total of Canadians sickened to 15. The latest infection was announced by Princess Cruises. The company says the unidentified Canadian was among the 66 newly confirmed cases aboard its Diamond Princess cruise ship which is already quarantined off the coast of Yokohama, Japan. Last night, Ottawa said it was monitoring the well-being of all 285 Canadians stuck on the Diamond Princess and another ship anchored near Hong Kong until at least February 19th. China is reporting a rise in new virus cases. The official death toll on the Chinese mainland has hit 908, with the number of infected pushing past the 41,000 mark. More than 360 cases have been confirmed outside mainland China, including two deaths in Hong Kong and the Philippines.
