A second incidence of inappropriate exposure on camera has resulted in consequences for Quebec Liberal MP William Amos. He’s been found in contempt of the House of Commons. Speaker Anthony Rota ruled Amos breached the privileges of his fellow MPs last month when he urinated while his computer camera was on during the internal parliamentary feed of proceedings. He noted that Amos has apologized for the mistake and stepped aside from his parliamentary secretary role to seek assistance, but Rota says the matter deserves further study by a House committee. Liberals rallied around Amos in April when he was caught naked on the internal feed while changing his clothes.
