White voice actor Harry Shearer will no longer voice Black character Dr. Hibbert on “The Simpsons”; he is being replaced with a Black voice actor. In a statement, it was announced that Kevin Michael Richardson is the new voice of the Doctor, and his job starts this Sunday. (They announced in June that the plan would be to no longer have white actors voice nonwhite characters).
