Netflix Breaks Records With 160 Nominations For This Years Emmy Awards

The Emmy Award Nominees came down yesterday!HBO’s Watchmen led with 26 nominations. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel had 20, Ozark and Succession with 18, The Mandalorian, Schitt’s Creek, and Saturday Night Live with 15.

When it comes to ‘networks,’ Netflix blew EVERYONE out of the water with 160 nominations total. That is a new record high in a single year.  The previous record was 137, which was set by HBO last year. On screen partnerships were nominated all over the place: Both Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate for ‘Dead To Me’. Laura Linney and Jason Bateman for ‘Ozark’, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carrell for ‘The Morning Show’. The Emmys are on September 20th in some way… somehow… and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
