[VIDEO] TikTok ‘Gravity Challenge’ Goes Viral And Shows How Men And Women Have A Different Centre Of Gravity

A TikTok balance challenge that men reportedly “can’t do” has everybody talking. With over 1.8 million views at last check, the video is out to show the difference between men and woman and their centre of gravity.

To do the “gravity” challenge, you can kneel side-by-side on the floor with both elbows on the ground. Cradle your chin in your hands to support your head. After that, try to tuck your hands behind the back, one at a time while attempting to hold your body in the initial position without falling over.

As you can see in the below video, Rachel assumes the position with yogi-like ease — while her male rival falls on his face.  Experts believe that the female success rate on challenges like these has to do with a discrepancy in mass distribution.  “The center of mass for most girls is lower to the hips, while the center of mass in boys is much higher,” explained UK science teacher Jeremy Johnson in a blog post on gravity.
