If this is the first time you are hearing about the story of the lost bear — brace yourself. It’s so sad and sweet at the same time. However, the good news is — we have a happy ending! What started in Vancouver ended up worldwide, when Ryan Reynolds got hold of a story about a missing bear. A woman named Mara (28) lost her Teddy Bear and was devastated. What’s the big deal about the bear? It contains a voice recording that her mother made for her before she died of cancer. The recording is of her Mom’s voice telling her she loves her, is proud of her and will always be with her. Ryan caught wind of the story on Saturday through CBC news, and quickly offered a $5,000 to anyone who returned the bear. . . no questions asked. It worked! Last night, Mara tweeted at Ryan, letting him know it worked! BREAK OUT THE @AviationGin, @VancityReynolds!!! MAMABEAR IS HOME!!! #FOUNDMARASBEAR”

According to a reporter at CBC, two good samaritans returned the bear Tuesday night after taking it from the original thief…we LOVE a happy ending 🙂
