Willie Garson, probably best known as Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City passed away at just 57. He was also Mozzie on “White Collar”, Gerald Hirsch in “Hawaii Five-0” and Henry Coffield on “NYPD Blue”. He was in Something About Mary and many more productions in his career. No cause of death was given, but tributes galore, including one from Cynthia Nixon who says “We all loved him and adored working with him. He was endlessly funny on-screen and in real life. He was a source of light, friendship…” In his last tweet, sent out early this month, it reads BE KIND TO EACH OTHER……ALWAYS. LOVE TO ALL. APRROACH KINDNESS.

So deeply, deeply sad we have lost @WillieGarson. We all loved him and adored working with him. He was endlessly funny on-screen and and in real life. He was a source of light, friendship and show business lore. He was a consummate professional— always. pic.twitter.com/G63EJIj8lG
