Eminem Was The Best Surprise Of The Night At The Oscars

There were not expected to be any real surprises at the Oscars, but then came Em! Marshall Mathers won the Oscar for Lose Yourself 18 years ago, but never showed up to take it home. The song had never been performed on the Awards stage until Sunday night.

This year, while there was a tribute to songs that helped turn great movies into fan-favorite classics, he came out to perform. Eminem later tweeted a photo with Elton John and thanked the Academy for having him.
